Step 3.
Select a File or Folder:
At this stage the Wizard will ask you basically where on your hard drive are the files and folders located that you would like to publish.

You can publish a single file or your entire web. If you choose folder and your web layout contains sub folders be sure to check the Include Sub Folders box

In our example we are publishing our entire web site up to the server, we created a folder on our local hard drive called ~test on drive C:.
We selected Browse for Folders and selected the ~test folder. We do not have any sub folders we need to publish so we did not check the Include Folders Box.

We then click Next>

After Naming the setup press the Advanced Button. this will present you with a listing of choices as to how to publish your web. All ACM Systems configured webs are FrontPage Server Extension enabled, choose the FrontPage Extended Web option.

If you connect to the Internet using Dial-up Networking, select that option and supply the Dial-up Networking connection you wish to use to access the Internet during this publishing session.

Note:

  • If you are using AOL as your internet provider make sure you are already connected to AOL and select "Local Area Network", as AOL does not support Dialup Networking.
  • If you have a single Dial-up connection, it will be listed in the drop down box. If you have multiple connections they will be listed as options in the drop down box.
